Information
Sittingbourne & Sheppey Residents Association provides independent guidance and support to homeowners affected by estate management charges, rentcharges, leasehold issues and poor estate maintenance. Many residents feel powerless when faced with rising costs, unclear accounts or limited rights to challenge decisions. We aim to provide clear information, explain your position, and help residents understand their options — whether that’s seeking transparency, connecting with neighbours, or responding to national reform proposals. An informed community is a stronger community.
Our Mission Statement
About Us
It all began with a simple idea fuelled by a deep passion. As a small non-profit organisation, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every detail. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence.
Our association was formed by two management companies, Queenborough (Phase 1) Management Company Limited and Abbey Place (Minster Village Centre) Management Company Limited. Both RMCs became tired of being a cash machine for managing agents. This has grown further since, and we want to help estates across the region.
We have partnerships with the National Leasehold Campaign (NLC) and Social Housing Action Campaign (SHAC). We are excited to work with SHAC on founding a new national tenants and residents union (NTRU).
